Marine windlass can be designed with single gypsy or double gypsies or combined with mooring drums, gypsies and drums are selectively operated via hydraulic actuated jaw clutch. The driven source of windlass can be electric motor, hydraulic or diesel engine.

Fountom’s marine windlass and anchor windlasses range from simple to the customized demanding. Horizontal anchor windlass and vertical anchor windlass are available, we can offer windlass maximum chain diameter in ø140mm.
